The Gin Mill is a fun tavern in Charlotte with a rooftop patio that overlooks the Southend area. The Gin Mill offers casual American food and a wide range of entertainment, including live music, events, and sports viewing.

The rooftop patio and bar are a big attraction of the Gin Mill. With a 360-degree view of Southend and with a spectacular view of uptown, patrons enjoy the appeal of one of the most vibrant parts of the city. However, the patio is open to the changing weather of our region. And that can be uncomfortable at certain times of the year to enjoy the outdoors.

To expand the season for outdoor entertainment, the Gin Mill installed a couple semi-permanent heated tents that increased their usable square footage on the rooftop patio. Now the tavern can serve an increased number of people throughout the year and protect them from the cold temperatures and elements.
