The Nest Academy is a transformative K-12 private school dedicated to educating Charlotte’s refugee, underprivileged, and at-risk children. With a profound mission to empower those who are at risk of falling through the cracks of the public school system, the academy emphasizes an individualized, strategic approach to education. Through customized education plans tailored to each student’s unique learning style, The Nest Academy propels its students toward academic success, regardless of their circumstances.
The Nest Academy was founded by Mary Catherine Hildreth in 2009. In just 15 years, the school has grown to have 50 students enrolled and 22 first-generation graduates. Through its unwavering commitment, The Nest Academy continues to transform lives and create opportunities for children who need it most.
