Charlotte was at the center of collegiate lacrosse this spring as the Atlantic Coast Conference brought its 2026 Women’s Lacrosse Championship to American Legion Memorial Stadium from Wednesday, April 22, through Sunday, April 26.

With eight nationally ranked ACC programs competing across seven games, the championship was a major sporting event for Charlotte. Creating an event of this scale takes much more than what happens on the field.
