On September 20 and 21, the India Association of Charlotte hosted its beloved annual Festival of India, a two-day celebration of culture, community, and color. Held across two locations—Uptown Charlotte and Ballantyne’s Backyard—the festival welcomed over 20,000 attendees, immersing them in the rich traditions, delicious flavors, and vibrant spirit of India.

From beautiful music and dance performances to a bustling marketplace of over 50 merchants, the event offered a feast of Indian cuisine, traditional attire, and exquisite jewelry. The kaleidoscope of colors and joyful energy made it a standout moment in Charlotte’s cultural calendar.
