The Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina Sort-A-Rama is an inspiring half-day event filled with high-energy volunteering and team-building. Each year, hundreds of volunteers come together to assemble thousands of meals for families in need — making a real difference in the fight against food insecurity.

This year’s Sort-A-Rama had an even greater impact, with boxes prepared not only for local families but also for those affected by Hurricane Helene. More than 800 volunteers joined forces to pack over 16,000 food boxes, offering help where it’s needed most and uplifting the community.
